Hey guys, 1 quick soccer rules question, after regulation play in regular series games, do they go into a 5 min OT if they are tied? then a shoot out, if still tied?

is it similar to being tied in hockey rules??

Im guessing its not only because the Heavy emphasis on TIES in al of my betting options,,,,

thanks for the help,,,

in a normal league game there is no OT ... there is some stoppage time added after the 90' as deemed by the ref but no OT

In certain cup games there are 2 15' sessions played and, if still tied, match is decided by penalty kicks ... but this does not happen with normal matches

In a league game if the game ends in a tie both teams get one point each there is no OT.

In a cup game if all is tied but one team must move on there are two 15 minutes periods played in full (not golden goal) and if they are still tied the game will go penalties, 5 per team then sudden death.
